4 Dimensions Report – DTV + BAI

Four Online Behavioral Assessments All rolled into one thorough and comprehensive Report with the 4D Report! Employ the most comprehensive and thorough personality assessment on the market today. The Four Dimensions of Personality Report (4D) is a revolutionary new report that offers over 1440 different points of comparison to generate the most comprehensive personality profile available today.

By combining the DISC Personality Style, TEAMS, Workplace VALUES, and the Behavioral Attitudes Index (BAI), you can assess 4 different dimensions of personality, behavior, thought processes and motivators.

The Four Dimensions of Personality Report Includes:

DISC-  This DISC based personality profile defines an individual’s predictable behaviors, their communication styles, preferences for specific environments and tasks, decision making processes, leadership abilities, organizational skills, and other observable and predictable behaviors. The profile incorporates an overview of each individual’s strengths and areas for improvement and comes with a goal setting worksheet aimed at their personal improvement. Understand and identify the Dominant, Inspiring, Steady, and Conscientious personality styles.

TEAMS- Gain insight into the individual thinking styles and strengths and limitations of a group within a specific environment. Discover which of your group members are skilled at thinking like a Theorist, Executor, Analyst, Manager or Strategist.  A well-balanced team that places people in positions where they can utilize their strengths creates a more effective and less stressful work environment.

Values-  While DISC profiles determine what an individual’s needs-driven motivations are, the Values Profile identifies a person’s values-driven motivations. These are the deeply ingrained automatic responses to different scenarios. These values are Loyalty, Equality, Personal Freedom, and Justice.  These values based motivators are not necessarily something that a person will be aware of, but these are the internal values that a person is willing to fight for.

BAI-  The Behavioral Attitudes Index assess the hidden passions, interests, and motivations for a person within a setting. Behavioral attitudes correspond with the emotions and thinking processes that subconsciously shape every decision an individual makes. The BAI assesses which of the I-SPEAK behavioral attitudes are predominant. These align with if a person is willing to expend energy toward Inner Awareness/Spiritual, Economic/Tangible, Artistic/Innovative, Power/Political, Social/Humanitarian, and Knowledge/Proficiency endeavors.  When a person’s behavioral attitudes are aligned with their environment, their natural motivation, passion and interests are in harmony- creating contentment and longevity in a position.

BAI Report (Behavioural Attitudes Index)

The Behavioral Attitudes Index (BAI) gauges the underlying passions and motivations of an individual within a specific environment. Behavioral attitudes coincide with the feelings and thoughts that unwittingly mold every choice a person makes.

The Behavioral Attitudes Index helps people to understand the underlying motivations behind their actions. Why is this important? Because when people act in accordance with their behavioral attitudes, they find that their behavior feels natural- as though it is aligned with their deepest sense of self. When we engage in behavior that is not aligned with our behavioral attitudes we feel stressed, as though what we are doing just doesn’t feel right.

Use the Behavioral Attitudes Index to help you:
• Understand a person’s decision-making process
• Become aware of the internal factors that guide decisions, tastes, and behaviors
• Gain indispensable insight into how a potential employee might fit into an existing corporate culture, and which position they would be internally motivated to excel in.
• Assess which tasks, careers, college majors etc. are naturally aligned with a person
• Take advantage of our research on over 300,000 individuals to discover the ‘secret sauce’ which causes some individuals to be more successful and happy doing their job
• Increase the longevity and productivity of employees
• Replicate highly successful employee’s traits & behaviors and to avoid replicating the traits of less successful employees.
• Understand how a person’s internal motivators determine what they will enjoy and what they are willing to spend energy toward
• Discover why people make the decisions that they do, and gain greater empathy and understanding (perfect for counseling and coaching applications)

Group Dynamics Report

High-performing companies have high- performing teams. Outstanding teams are often crafted and cultivated, so it is no accident that some groups perform better than others.

This team-building tool uses DISC to explore the traits that make independently talented people come together to form a team culture.

This group report is designed to allow you to examine the behavioral strengths and characteristics of each team member independently as well as collectively. Used as a springboard for enhanced collaboration, this report will shed light upon leadership impact, communication/task flow and increase awareness of individual strengths and diversity.

Another goal is to show how each team member has tremendous impact upon the team and how each team affects the organization as a whole. Organizations who use DISC can create a neutral language regarding the core styles, making discussions about personal traits less "personal," and more based on style awareness. Teams and organizations that embrace DISC can experience improved communication, stronger relationships, higher levels of productivity and creativity, reduced stress, and greater results.

PeopleKeys Performance Benchmark

What is a Performance Benchmark?

A performance benchmark is a set of standards or behavioral ranges for outstanding achievement within a given environment. These ranges are set based on the needs of workplace environment and behavioral requirements of the position, taking into account both daily tasks and long-term goals. Benchmarks can additionally be based on skills, experience, education, trends in the workplace, and one’s thinking style and workplace values. When hiring, this is the “bar” candidates are measured against.

How are Benchmarks Created?

There are three ways to set a benchmark.

Industry Databases

PeopleKeys has been collecting industry data for over 20 years and working with job profiles, behavioral requirements, and corporate consulting for over 30 years. Based on this information, experience, and using several industry databases which meet EEOC guidelines for additional research, categorization, and job descriptions, we have predefined a number of standard industry benchmarks.  These benchmarks can be purchased through your PeopleKeys account and applied to PeopleKeys hiring reports within your account.

OccupationalKeys Surveys

OccupationalKeys is a proprietary PeopleKeys hiring survey available through your PeopleKeys account. A hiring manager can answer a series of questions about the requirements of the position specific to the office environment, short-term tasks and long-term goals, and past or present employee performance, which they’d like to duplicate. This allows the hiring party to set their own “ideals” for job success. These can be applied to PeopleKeys reports within your account.

Custom Benchmarking Studies

Top performers within a given company are assessed and correlations are made between skills and behaviors common to all the top performers in conjunction with the requirements of the workplace environment. This method is the most reliable overall and leads to the highest success rate in retention, performance, and replication. PeopleKeys pairs custom benchmarking studies with consulting practices to best meet the needs of your company and truly create a benchmark that will allow you to replicate the performers which were most successful within this particular environment.

For custom benchmarking studies, all three techniques are often used, combining historical information from industry databases, hiring manager OccupationalKeys surveys, paired with top performer assessments, and PeopleKeys’ consultant expertise. These can be used for hiring and for targeted training; taking each employee up “one level” in performance.

How would I use a benchmark for hiring?

Once your benchmark is created and available within your PeopleKeys account, it’s time to make your hire. Have your applicants take a behavioral assessment and they will appear in your account with a red, yellow, or green behavioral match. Once you find the best applicants based on qualifications and personality style, thinking style, and value, it’s time to interview and pick the right person for the job.

After showing how well someone matches a benchmark, it provides interview questions to ask.

What are the benefits of using benchmarks for hiring?

  • People hired through behavioral benchmarks have the right set of strengths to match the position. When someone is able to play to their strengths in the day to day, they tend to have better morale and be more productive workers.
  • When a company understands DISC culture, the communication within the company is enhanced, leading to better working relationships and less conflict.  This leads to a happier workplace environment and increased employee retention overall.
  • Increased employee retention and decreased turnover save the company a lot of money in hiring and training costs.
  • Human Resource employees can save time by using PeopleKeys benchmarking as a filtering process for hiring. Sometimes HR professionals have to read through hundreds of applications before finding the few matches they’d like to interview or consider for hire. In this case, they can narrow it down to the green personality matches first, then filter through those for the most qualified workers for an interview.

The Extraordinary Leader™ 360 Assessment Tool

Zenger Folkman, has spent years researching and creating a best-in-class 360-degree assessment that measures an individual’s strengths and potential fatal flaws, and correlates those results to significant business outcomes like employee engagement, retention and bottom-line profitability. Our 360-degree assessments deliver results that others simply can’t match.

11 Components that Differentiate Our Best-in-Class 360-Degree Assessments

  • Research Based: Built on more than 500,000 assessments on 50,000 leaders, the Zenger Folkman 360 measures an individual’s ability in key competency areas. These differentiating competencies are statistically derived and proven to set apart the best leaders from their average and poor counterparts.
  • Strengths Focused: Great leaders are defined by their strengths, not the absence of weakness. The Zenger Folkman 360 helps leaders identify and prioritize strengths they can build.
  • A New Scale: After using agree/disagree scales for years, Zenger Folkman has proven that it creates a false positive. Our new scale provides leaders with keen insight into whether a behavior is a strength, a competence or a weakness.
  • Normative Comparisons: Most multi-rater assessments compare participants against the “average”. This sends the unintended message that the goal is to be better than average. By benchmarking leaders against the 90th percentile norm, participants have a much higher aspirational goal.
  • A User-Friendly Report Structure: Data is displayed in an easily interpreted, user-friendly format that highlights individual strengths and reveals potential fatal flaws.
  • An Employee Commitment Index: This index measures the extent to which a leader’s direct reports are satisfied and motivated to do their jobs. There is a direct correlation between leadership effectiveness and employee commitment. In short, great leaders produce more committed, satisfied and productive employees.
  • Importance Ranking: This section displays differentiating competencies, ranked from most important to least important. Raters are asked to choose four competencies that, if executed with a high level of skill and expertise, would have the most significant impact on the participant’s success in their current role.
  • 10 Highest and 10 Lowest Scored Items: These are broken out for convenient review.
  • Written Comments: Comments provided by respondents are displayed verbatim, providing supplemental information to clarify the numeric data and provide other perspectives not revealed by item scores alone.
  • Aggregate Reporting: Custom aggregate reports benchmark the entire organization, a team or other group against our database norms. This data can be used for development, growth and change strategies.
  • Gap Reporting: Leaders can be re-assessed 12-18 months after the initial 360-degree assessments to determine their developmental progress.

Organisational Employee Surveys

Employee surveys provide an accounting of the level of employee commitment on key factors that drive the organization’s success. Effective employee surveys produce feedback that is meaningful and useful, relative to employee engagement, satisfaction, and commitment. After years of experience helping organizations create surveys and deliver feedback, Zenger Folkman has perfected the organizational survey process to consistently bring significant change to companies all around the world.

Team Surveys

To align team members and create synergy within the group, it is important to understand what roadblocks stand in the way. Team Surveys are an effective way to capture the candid feelings of team members about their team’s strengths and weaknesses.
