About Seok Heng Wah

Seok Heng Wah has had a remarkable career, assuming various positions in Sales, Operations, Human Resources Development and Change Management in both SME and MNC organizations. His career has spanned across IT, Education Services and the Automotive industry and he has in-depth experience of the local business and social landscapes of China, Malaysia, Australia, and Singapore. His passion for Learning and Human Performance Improvement has earned him his expertise in Change Management, Human Capital Development and workplace learning and performance improvement.

With a strong corporate background in Human Resource Management and Change Management, his executive coaching and training focuses on two main areas:

  • - Management & leadership skills, such as Leadership Foundations, Effective Communication, Influencing Skills, Conflict Resolution, Team Building
  • - Advanced leadership skills for senior management such as Change Leadership, Employee Management, Performance Management, Coaching for Leaders, etc.

Seok is an experienced bilingual coach and training consultant for more than 7 years. Before joining as a training consultant, he was with Volkswagen Group China taking a few senior leadership positions working in 3 separate locations. He has led and supported change management initiative with a focus on organization development, both in a SOE/JV and MNC environments that transformed the sales organization into a more dynamic and customer centric organization structure which enable quicker responses to the marketplace and decentralize decision making process empowering the front line to response effectively and efficiently to achieve higher business results. During his last tenure with the organization, he was involved in setting the new entity, National Sales Company in Malaysia, acting as the Human Resource Director for both the sales office and factory

Some of the clients he has served and trained are Business Logic Systems, BMW, ChangAn Ford, Ericsson, FAW-VW, GE Energy, GAC Mitsubishi Motor, Mercedes Benz, New Mobility Asia, Volkswagen China Investment Company, Volkswagen Group Import China etc.

Seok is a certified Professional Coach approved by International Coaching Federation (ICF) with a PCC, Credential. He has three other related coaching training, namely, Certified in Stakeholder Centered Coaching (Marshall Goldsmith), Certified EQ Coach (6 Seconds) and Systematic Team Coaching. Furthermore, he is an Outdoor Experiential Trainer by Singapore Training and Development Association (STADA), Diploma in Training and Assessment Systems (Inter-Continental Colleges, Australia) and recently completed the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). Besides graduating with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing with the University of Tasmania, Australia, he also obtained a Master of Strategic Marketing with the University of Wollongong and a MBA from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
