Hilda Cheung is a Principal Consultant of Lifeskills Institute and the Head of the Youth Division. With an innate talent for understanding human dynamics, Hilda loves to inspire, challenge and nurture those around her.
Leveraging on 17 years of experience in training, consulting, project management, curriculum design, marketing and education, Hilda is dedicated to Lifeskills Institute’s mission by empowering people to lead their organisations with impact and achieving its vision to be Asia’s most trusted life skills authority.
Hilda’s previous work with both local and international organizations such as International Data Corporation, National Geographic, Institute of Technical Education and Learning Vision has pushed her to be forward thinking, given her deep insight into people management and allows her to understand the needs of various stakeholders. Her strong ability to organize information and solutions in a logical manner has allowed her to develop curriculum and take charge of project management in different capacities.

It was during an earlier stint as an educator that Hilda discovered her purpose in life to touch lives by helping people to realize their full potential and enabling them to be leaders who think critically and act responsibly. Using her knack for reading people’s emotions and intentions, Hilda creates safe environments to build rapport with her clients, allowing them to share and learn without inhibition or judgement. She believes in being meticulous in preparing her materials and is adept at solving problems by connecting people to ideas, themselves and each other.
As a Principal Consultant at Lifeskills Institute, she is one of the facilitators for the ‘Certified Behavioral and Career Consultant’ certification course. She has conducted numerous trainings and workshops in leadership, teambuilding, personal development, human resource management, train-the-trainers and family matters. Her clients include the Ministry of Defence, Singapore (MINDEF), Regent Hotel, UBS Singapore, Lion Global Investors, M1 Singapore, Precursor Singapore, Nanyang Business School (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Nanyang Polytechnic.
Hilda is a Certified Advanced Behavioural Analyst (IML, US), Certified Stress Management Consultant (IML, US), Certified WorkPlace Big Five Consultant (Applied Cognitive Studies, US), Trained Leadership Challenge facilitator (Wiley, US), and Emergenetics (International) Associate. Besides the certification, she is also a trained as Choice Therapy, Reality Therapy and Lead management conducted by The William Glasser Institute (US).
She holds a Master of Education from Monash University, Australia; a Post-Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from International Centre of Early Childhood Education (ICEC), Singapore; and a Bachelor of Business with Distinction (Business Administration) from RMIT University, Australia.
