Bryan is a passionate individual who holds an exceptional talent in maximizing the potential in individuals. He is currently the programme & training consultant with Lifeskills Institute, managing from design to delivery of a full suite of training programmes. As an ardent individual that seeks to transforms the strong into superb, he fervently strives to achieve excellence in all work that he does.
Bryan is a Certified Advanced Behavioural Consultant and Career Coach with the Institute for Motivational Living (IML). He is an expert practitioner of the DISC personality profiling tool and has aided hundreds of people through the process of self-discovery and mastery.
His clients range from youth to entrepreneurs, and executives to C-level leaders in the corporate sector. His has helped to enable PMETs and global leaders to be career coaches in their respective companies and teams. His clientele spans across multiple industries which include the finance sector (AIA-IM, AXA), learning institutions (National University of Singapore, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic), healthcare (SingHealth), procurement & distribution (America II), NGOs in social service (Chinese Development Assistance Council, Care Corner Singapore), government sectors (Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education) and many others.
Bryan holds a Bachelors in Professional Communications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, he has a vast knowledge in multiple levels and styles of communication. He is the copywriter and editor for communication tools and all marketing materials for Lifeskills Institute and its thousands of Alumni across Asia. This competency has enabled him as an effective facilitator and coach, being able to simplify the complex to elicit and summarise learnings. He has trained many undergraduates for interview skills and personal development modules across Singapore.
Bryan is trained and proficient with multiple leadership and performance effectiveness models and frameworks; strength-based leadership development for 360-assessments & feedback and executive coaching, Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team, and Kouzes & Posner’s The Leadership Challenge. He is also familiar with other personality profiling tools such as the MBTI psychometric instrument, Gallup’s Strengths Finder and Tetra Map.
Currently holding the appointment of Officer Commanding of a NS Company, he leads 90 men under his command and has been recognized for his leadership positions and training. Being with the Singapore Armed Forces Commando formation, Bryan served at the rank of Lieutenant as a Detachment Commander, grooming and training men under his command. Additionally, he was offered further development through courses such as the SAF Basic Coaching and Facilitation Course, Company Tactics Course, and the Advance Infantry Officer Course. Being a leader has privileged him with the opportunity to impact the lives of those around him and developed his skills and focus in multiple fields. More importantly, it has ignited his passion of developing people and edifying the lives of others in all ways possible.
Joining the professional training and coaching community after his various leadership training, Bryan seeks to aid in the self-discovery of others and continually empower them. He strives to help others achieve their highest potential, and see their goals come to fruition. Being driven by talents, he rejects using a one-size-fits-all approach when empowering other to take action. Instead, he believes in discovering each person’s special talents, skills, knowledge, mission, preferences, philosophies and uniqueness to unlock the greatest potential in them.
